To work towards and fight for the upliftment of the poor, weak and needy, we, the trust members of Gopinath Social Development Foundation (GSDF) were keen on giving back to our society which has given so much,, so the trust was formed started our activities. Some less privileged children of our locality were given special classes on English, Maths and some creative craft making as well as drawing. The children were given healthy food for lunch and ended the day with heart full of happiness and content.

The Trust members had also conducted free “Health camps” and “Eye camps” at regular intervals to bring up the general health of the society.
Keeping in mind the week educational infrastructure of our locality and that a school is an institution designed for the teaching of students under the direction of teachers, the trustees of GSDF started a main stream school in the name and style of Greenfield Academy, where the children receive holistic education with life scoping skills. The students are trained in martial art like karate and the most important regular sessions of yoga.
Every year the children enjoy Summer Camps and Winter Camps, wherein they learn more about the different seasons of India. These camps help the children to build up their moral values and enhance their qualities of being a better human.

Teacher's corner-- Greenfield Academy teachers are passionate about teaching, so they love and enjoy teaching the children of Greenfield Academy. They use different teaching methods to make learning more interesting and enjoyable for the students. Audio – visual methods and smart classes are taken up as a major tool to provide a practical knowledge of all that is taught in the school. Mrs.Dipty Chakroborty is the headmistress of the school who is in charge of the academics and Mrs.Rita Das is the administrator, who is in charge of the discipline of the school.
